It has a Lithium Polymer battery the size of a postage stamp that can power both electric motors and the receiver for over 10 minutes of flight. It recharges from the controller in about 15 minutes.

You can fly them indoors, or out on the lawn if the wind isn't too strong. The controller has a 300 foot range.
